We have summarized the most frequent questions and answers regarding PCR-tests for Covid-19
- What does a PCR test mean?
A PCR test for Covid-19 is a sample taken by gently inserting a swab into the nose. The test is performed by medically trained personnel and the answer is sent for analysis to a certified laboratory.
- Who can take the test?
Everyone is welcome to take the test with us.
It is important to note that we do not perform the test on people that show symptoms, such as cold symptoms or fever. If you are ill, you need to stay at home and follow current guidelines. People with symptoms that come to our clinic, we unfortunately need to reject due to the risk of infection, since they need to stay in quarantine.
- I am not a Swedish citizen, can you help me?
Yes, we can help people who are not residents in Sweden. This applies, for example, to people who are temporarily are visiting Sweden or people that do not have a Swedish personal identity number.
- How long does the test take?
Taking the test only takes about 5 minutes.
- How do I book a test?

- When do I get a test result?
The test is sent to a laboratory that analyzes the answer. During weekdays, the answer will be sent to you by e-mail in the evening, the day after you take the test. Around 21.00-22.00.
Please note that the laboratory is closed during weekends.
- What date is presented on the certificate?
The date presented in the certificate is the day on which the test was carried out. The information on the certificate only indicates the day of the test and not the specific time when the test was performed.
- Can I get the certificate in English
Yes. All of our certificates are written in English.
- What kind of information does the certificate contain?
The certificate describes the type of test that was taken and that a certified laboratory has analyzed the tests. The certificate is signed by a medical doctor and stamped with a stamp for our medical clinic.
- How reliable is the test?
The test and the test result is reliable. We use the same test that Swedish healthcare uses to identify ongoing infections among their patients and that have been used worldwide since the outbreak of Covid-19.
- Can you issue a certificate for a test that already has been performed at another clinic?
We can only issue certificates and certify test results that we have performed ourselves and where we know that all applicable processes and routines have been applied and that it is a certified laboratory that has analyzed the test.
- Can you test larger groups or perform tests at workplaces?
